How Do I Register?
Registering is simple, all you need to do is fill out a form, Click Here to fill out the registration form.
How Can I Modify My Profile?
This one is fairly simple, first off go to Your Profile, once there, click the "Modify Profile" link and then change the details. Once filled in and happy, click "Modify Profile" at the bottom of the page.
How Can I Send A Private Message To A Member?
There are a couple of ways you can do this,
- Go to the members profile and click "Send Personal Message".
- Click on the Private Message button (
) on the members mini-profile next to their post.
- Go to the Private Messaging Centre (Here), then click on "New Message" (
) and type in the Members user name (Not Display Name).
Once you have got to the Private Messaging screen put in a subject, type your message and hit send.
How Can I Immediately Know I Have A New PM?
If you go to your Private Messaging Centre you will see a "Preferences" button (), if you click it you will get to This Screen. From this screen you can block members (or everyone), get a notification E-Mail or a notification pop-up box which will pop-up whenever the page is loaded or refreshed.
I Want To Start A New Topic, How?
First off, go to the Board that will suit your topic subject correctly, then, once inside the board click the "New Topic" button () and put in the Subject and Message you would like in your topic.
How Can I Start A Poll?
Just like starting a new topic, polls can be started with ease. Again, go to the correct board and then click on the "New Poll" button (),put in the subject and your question, and then put in the selection of options people can choose from (up to 35). You must put in a message in the space below because other wise it won't post. Poll Questions and Options Cannot Be Modified Once Posted so make sure everything is spelled correctly and that you don't want to add any more options.
I Already Posted A Topic But I Want To Add A Poll Now, How?
If you have started a topic but realized you needed a poll then don't worry, you can click the "Add Poll" button
()! It does not matter if your topic has replies in it, you can still add a poll!
How Can I Modify My Post?
Simply, click on the "Modify" button () and it will open up your message to be modified. If you accidentally delete your message and still modify it, it will only save the modified bit. To recover a message click "Back" on your browser before you click "Modify Post" and do it again. Also, if you have to add more information or something else to your topic, don't waste topic space by posting another message, simply click "Modify"!
I Don't Want My Message Being Shown Anymore, How Can I Delete It?
To delete your message, simply click the "Delete" button () next to your post. Posts can't be restored after deletion.
How Can I Quote A Message?
If someone has posted a message and you want to talk about the message they posted but someone has already posted, click the "Quote" button () next to the post you want to quote and then type your message.
How Can I Make My URL Link Into A Text Link?
If you are trying to post a link but it's a really long link, it will stretch the page. To make it shorter or to have it as a word, use this simple word formatting. [url=URL TO WEBSITE] TEXT HERE [/url] For example, if you wanted a link to google but didn't want www.google.co.uk and wanted Google as a link, format your text like this. [url=www.google.co.uk]Google[/url] and it will come out as Google.
How Can I Add An Image To The Forums?
First off you need to upload your image to the internet, you can use Imageshack or Photobucket (I recommend Photobucket), once you have uploaded the image, grab the Image URL by copying it (Ctrl + C) and then pasting it (Ctrl + V) in between [img][/img], click post, and your image will show up. (Try and keep images smaller than 500x250 pixels as it can stretch the forums and slow down the loading speed. Keep in mind that people are still using dial up connections!)
